excerpts of my life…

“Thank you.”

Thank you because you decided to share you life with me. Life’s full of intersections and venues where different people meet up. There are many who are as interesting or probably even more fascinating than what my so-called life has to offer. Yet you chose to let me be part of your adventure, and you, mine. Thank you.

Thank you for being with me. You may not be beside me all the time, but I know you have me in your heart and thoughts. For that, I don’t feel so far from you, or alone anymore.

Thank you, for adding more color to my life. I see things differently now because of you. Now, everything’s brighter – the blues and grays, fewer.

Thank you as well for making me think of you all the time. An idle mind is just the pits. It may mean killing more brain cells, but I think these were deaths worth it.

For that matter, thank you too for making my heart go thumpity-thump-thump. It used to be only thump-thump. Beating more and faster gives my heart a lot of exercise that it sorely needs. You’re the one true thing that’s good for my heart.

And thank you, because saying ‘I love you’ to you is as natural as breathing.

half a year, full of vibrant colors, and it’s all because of you~

having idle time at work is a rarity for me. which is a good thing in itself, ‘coz you’re not supposed to be idle at work anyways. i guess the downside to that is whenever an idea sprouts, or an inspiration to write beckons, i’d be busy with work, and would not have the spare time to jot it down, lest my current train of thought be derailed. and when that idle time comes along, i’d have already forgotten about that bright idea, and i’d be struggling for hours to remember what it was, ending up frustrated in the process.. like right now. lulz~

let’s see, the first month of the new year is almost over, and what have i been up to? aside from clocking in and out of my “9-5″ job.. not much, actually. i’d still be usually at home during my off-hours, either in front of the compie, or just hanging out in my room, sleeping the day away. so for those looking for intense updates, you ain’t missing much. :p

work. gonna be six years this July, and one year at my current post this May. how is it so far? still enjoying it i guess, otherwise i’d be out looking for another job. but sometimes i think to myself: what else is out there for me? i mean, if ever i get outta this industry, where will i go? i haven’t checked out what’s the next big thing, so the answer to that question is still pending for now..

love. in less than 2 weeks, it’ll already be half a year that i’ve been in a relationship. we’ve had our share of ups and downs, and being a “long-distance” one makes it more challenging than your average coupling, among other “challenges” that we face. but hey, we’re still here, and we’re gonna make it work!

i’d really love to sit and write some more stuff, but other matters need to be attended to. i’ll hopefully add more entries here as 2010 rolls along. roll with me, y doncha?

not that kind of a fiery start, but the flame flickers on..

better late than never..
